u know when ppl post like 12 photos of their eyes and they’re like “here my eye color is green, there it’s blue, then it’s grey” but like … it’s literally the same color throughout? like just post ur pic and go?

I have green eyes so depending on the light their color can change a little bit but it’s far from being dramatic. Since green eyes are actually blue eyes with a bit of yellow around the pupil, with a bright light they’re green, and with a dull one, they may look blue.

My eyes do that thing where, depending on the color of clothing I am wearing, they might look either gray or swamp green. I once asked the eye doctor what color my eyes were, (since people would be like, “oh your eyes are blue” “They’re green” “They’re Hazel” and eventually I gave up asking), and he looked into his little eye microscope thing they look at your eyes with and went “Well, you’ve got a bit of everything in there… green, blue, gray, nearly every color” THANKS DOC, REAL HELPFUL.
